The Gilford Public Library seeks a creative and dynamic self-starter to work closely with all members of our team. We are a busy service-oriented library that pushes the boundaries to stay current with the needs and interests in the community. If you are self-motivated and independent, but work well as part of a team, you may be our successful candidate. You will be given a full range of library responsibilities including providing direct patron support predominately to teens and children, leading innovative storytimes and children’s activities, and assisting with teen events and book talks. If you love helping others learn, grow, and share and have the desired qualifications, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree with previous experience working with children and teens and knowledge of current children’s literature required. Master’s degree in library science desired.
