Reference Librarian, Part-time, Lamson Library & Learning Commons, Plymouth State University, Plymouth, NH
DUTIES: Providing research assistance to students, faculty, staff, and community users in a midsize academic library. Approximately 4-8 hours per week, primarily to provide assistance with weekend Reference, including on average one 4-hour weekend shift per week. Position is from Sept. 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018, with possibility of renewal for next fiscal year. This is a non-benefited, hourly position.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: ALA-accredited MLS degree, or enrolled in accredited program. Minimum of one year Reference experience, preferably in an academic library, and experience in use of electronic databases and other electronic resources. Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
