Media/Technology Integration Specialist, Hooksett Memorial School, Hooksett, NH

Implement a comprehensive library media program at Hooksett Memorial School, an elementary school with 431 students enrolled.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Inspires students to become avid and competent readers by providing appropriate reading materials and the guidance to find those materials.

Informs and provides training to teachers and staff of new and existing information technologies and resources.

Collaborates with teachers in planning and implementing instruction which incorporates use of media center resources.

Manages the library media instructional program by staffing the library, supervising paraprofessionals and volunteers, scheduling the use of Library Media Center, selecting and ordering materials and equipment, participating in preparing annual budget.

 Master's Degree in Library Science or Instructional Technology, or equivalent education and experience;

NH DOE certification with endorsement as media specialist (0036) or media supervisor (0035, or eligibility;

2 years experience in school library media service

A full benefits package consistent with the Hooksett Education Association Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Consistent with the Hooksett Education Association Collective Bargaining Agreement, salary range from $44,800 to $86,560, depending on the level of education and years of service.
