Job Description:
The Manager of Library Licensing at SNHU provides leadership for the Shapiro Library's portfolio of licenses. You will oversee and perform our licensing and acquisition activities and negotiate favorable prices and terms of use for resources according to policy and strategic direction. You will collaborate with partners across the University to ensure library licenses represent the rights and obligations for our library and learners. This is a fully remote opportunity that will report to our Executive Director, University Collections and Resources.
What you'll do:
The Manager of Library Licensing at SNHU provides leadership for the Shapiro Library's portfolio of licenses. You will oversee and perform our licensing and acquisition activities and negotiate favorable prices and terms of use for resources according to policy and strategic direction. You will collaborate with partners across the University to ensure library licenses represent the rights and obligations for our library and learners. This is a fully remote opportunity that will report to our Executive Director, University Collections and Resources.
What you'll do:
*Provide leadership for policies related to the management of Shapiro Library licensed resources including negotiating prices and contract terms for resources, monitoring workflows, developing standards for vendor agreements, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
*Manage submission and communication with University Procurement Contract Management team, general counsel, and vendors to complete approval of associated contract paperwork such as order forms, amendments.
*Manage submission of information and documentation for Information Security reviews.
*Collaborate with Assistant Director of Library Operations to assure accurate creation of requisitions and delivery of the purchase orders.
*Manage accurate and up-to-date license and agreement provisions within library management systems (e.g. Folio and EBSCO Discovery Service) to inform library staff and learners of use restrictions in vendor contracts.
*Collaborate with collections team to maintain accurate order, organizations, vendor contacts and holdings information in Folio.
*Maintain current knowledge of the procurement Commercial Contracts Guide and industry best practices and trends for library academic licensing.
*Document and update licensing procedures, vendor agreement standards, and Folio license and agreement application procedures.
*Support work across the Office of Knowledge Management and Information Science (OKMIS).
*Other responsibilities as assigned
Minimum requirements (training, skills, education, experience):

*Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited program

Hiring Wage Range:
The annual pay range for this position is $56,752.00 - $90,821.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $62,712.00 - $84,846.00.
