The Jaffrey Public Library Board of Trustees seeks a forward-thinking, experienced Library Director to lead a vibrant and historic library, in beautiful Jaffrey, New Hampshire, home to Mount Monadnock.
The Jaffrey Public Library serves the resident populations of Jaffrey and Sharon and the regional populations of Rindge and Marlborough, as a central library in the Monadnock Regional Library Consortium. The library serves as a center for lifelong learning and innovative programming, within a collaborative and inclusive work culture.
The ideal candidate will have a high level of emotional intelligence, as well as experience working with outside community organizations, grant writing and implementation, mentoring and managing staff, and managing budgets.
This full-time (40 hrs.), exempt, salaried position requires a Master’s degree in Library & Information Science from an American Library Association accredited program and a minimum of three years of administrative and management experience in a public library setting.
