Exeter Public Library — Full Time Library Assistant (40 Hours/Week)
Exeter Public Library seeks a fun and energetic, people-centered Full-Time Library Assistant to join our team. This position works with patrons of all ages, with a special focus on youth services including; babies, toddlers, children, tweens, teens, families, and large groups.
The ideal candidate brings enthusiasm, creativity, and fresh ideas to desk service, story times, crafts, and community programming. Strong communication skills, solid computer proficiency, reliability, and a friendly, team-oriented approach are essential. Experience in art, performance, or early literacy engagement is a plus.
Shifts are flexible and include some evenings and weekends.
Minimum requirements (training, skills, education, experience):
Bachelors degree required. Masters in Library and Information Science preferred.
