The Lebanon Public Libraries are looking for an Outreach and Programming Librarian who wants to build relationships across the community. You'll design and deliver engaging programs for all ages, and work with local partners to bring in new voices and new audiences.
This role blends traditional librarian work with outreach, program development, marketing, and oversight of long-term programming contractors. You'll manage a dedicated programming budget and work as part of the library's management team, helping shape policy and strategic direction along the way.
Minimum requirements (training, skills, education, experience):
The successful candidate will hold a Master of Library and Information Science degree, with experience working in a public library preferred. Strong candidates will bring solid knowledge of marketing principles, sound judgment for evaluating program effectiveness and allocating resources, and the organizational skills to manage a program budget.

$31.90 - $43.05/hour
Other Considerations/Requirements:
This is a 25-hour part-time position working regularly scheduled hours, including working on the public service desk and Saturdays as part of a staff rotation. This position is part of the newly-formed Lebanon Library Professional, Administrative, and Janitorial Employees bargaining unit (L.L.-P.A.J.E.).
