Dartmouth Libraries, a vital partner in Dartmouth’s research enterprise and teaching mission, is seeking an Information Access and Building Operations Assistant to join our team at Baker-Berry Library at the heart of Dartmouth’s campus.
This highly visible, front line position brings together exceptional customer service, building operations, and administrative coordination. As a member of our Access Services team, you’ll be an important point of connection for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. You’ll help people navigate our spaces, services, and resources while contributing to a library environment where everyone feels welcome, supported, and empowered to engage in learning and discovery.
You’ll also play an essential role behind the scenes, helping coordinate maintenance, custodial services, and other building needs that keep our facilities clean, functional, accessible, and ready for the Dartmouth community. Your attention to detail and ability to coordinate across teams will help ensure that our spaces work well for the people who use them every day.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, staying organized, and improving processes and services. You’ll build relationships across Dartmouth, collaborate with colleagues and campus partners, respond to the needs of a dynamic academic environment, and help ensure that both the people and spaces that make Dartmouth Libraries special have what they need to thrive.
