Are you, or someone you know, looking for a temporary librarian position in an academic library? Pursuing an MLS and wanting some practical experience? If so, we hope you will consider this part-time temporary (January through May 2025) Life Sciences and Agriculture Librarian position at the University of New Hampshire Library in Durham. Candidates should have completed at least 15 credits (with a course in the provision of reference services) towards an MLS but don’t have to have completed all requirements to be considered for this opportunity. Position is 25-30 hours per week at $26 per hour.
This adjunct position provides subject-specific information literacy instruction (both in-person and online) to the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture community (and other colleges as needed) along with relevant research support and instruction activities through individual research consultations, chat reference service and possibly special projects.
