Mt. Caesar Union Library in Swanzey seeks a responsible, welcoming Library Assistant 24 hours a week, starting mid-January 2025. The Library Assistant will be a member of a 3 person team, providing friendly, professional service to a community adjacent to Keene in the beautiful Monadnock Region.
The Assistant Librarian will be responsible for overseeing circulation and inter-library loan duties, but will also assist with general library services and daily operational needs. The 24-hour a week schedule will include 4 hours on Saturdays. Paid PTO and holidays are provided, with an hourly rate of $18.50.
Bachelor's degree and library experience preferred. General office skills and excellent customer service experience required. Humor, patience, and a love of reading desired. Digital skills welcome.
