Head of Adult Services, George H. and Ella M. Rodgers Memorial Library, Hudson, NH

George H. and Ella M. Rodgers Memorial Library (RML) in Hudson, NH, seeks applications from patron-centered and collaborative candidates for our Head of Adult Services position. The Head of Adult Services will report to the Library Director, supervise the Adult Services Department, and provide access to all our resources. We are looking for someone passionate about the local community and committed to excellent customer service.

In this role, you will:
Train, schedule, and manage Adult Services staff and volunteers, and evaluate their performance
Manage the day-to-day operations of borrowing materials, interlibrary loans, and reserves
Address patron issues, enforce library policies, and ensure a welcoming environment for the community
Participate in material selection and collection management for Adult Services
Collect statistics and prepare monthly reports
Shape the future of the library by working with the Library Director regarding library resources and services

Qualifications:
An ALA/Master's of Library Information Science Degree is preferred. However, we will consider a Bachelor's degree equivalent OR extensive Para-librarian experience in Circulation.
1-3 years of supervisory experience.
Extensive, proven customer service experience
Proficient with web-based LMS/ILS systems, including circulation and reports.
Knowledge of and ability to use Google Workspace

Benefits:
Full benefits package including medical and dental, paid sick and vacation, and paid holidays.

Hiring Wage Range:
Starting salary range $48,880 to $52,000 based on experience.
