The Town of Wells is seeking a full-time, energetic, team-oriented Teen Services Librarian who has a strong commitment to working with young adults. This position is responsible for creating welcoming spaces where teens feel comfortable and respected while providing library services including programming, collection development, and readers advisory. This position is also responsible for managing the behaviors of teens who visit the library. This is a 40 hour/week position that requires some evening and weekend hours.

Minimum requirements (training, skills, education, experience):
The successful candidate will have a master’s degree, at least one year of professional experience working in a library, and experience working with teens/young adults. Candidates with any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

The Town of Wells offers an excellent pay and benefit package. This is a full-time position with a with a pay range of $24.72- $35.10 per hour depending on experience.
