Job Description:
Maxfield Public Library is seeking a part-time Library Assistant to work 10-15 scheduled hours per week. Requirements of the job include: assisting patrons at the circulation desk, checking books in and out, helping patrons with locating and obtaining materials, helping patrons with tech services needs such as faxing copying, and scanning, and providing exceptional customer service for a diverse library community. Some evenings and weekends are required.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of experience working with the public, preferably in a library setting. Knowledge of library services, practices, and procedures preferred. Operational knowledge of computer hardware/software preferred.
Hiring Wage:
$16.00
