Evening Reference Librarian, Ohrstrom Library, St. Paul's School, Concord, NH

Reporting to the Library Director, the Evening Reference Librarian provides library research and circulation assistance to students, faculty, staff, and other library patrons. Designs and implements library programming and services for students and other library users. Works with departments outside the library on initiatives that contribute to creating an inclusive library program. Assist with other tasks within the Library. This position is an evening position, the library is open until 9:30pm.

Master's degree in education, library science, or related discipline.
At least two years experience in a library setting. Experience in an academic or school library is preferred,(a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge skills and experience are acquired may be considered). Knowledge and experience in meeting the needs of students and faculty in a variety of subject areas. Experience with conducting reference interviews and searching research databases.
Strong computer skills and ability to find and learn new programs independently.
Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office products and basic technical troubleshooting. Initiative and the ability to conceive and carry out projects on a deadline, including managing multiple responsibilities and effectively responding to the needs of a campus community that makes heavy demands on library services. Proven ability to multi-task and work with minimal direct supervision. Self-motivation, flexibility, and strong problem-solving are essential. Outstanding organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills and a demonstrated commitment to excellent service to a diverse group of users, both internal and external. Demonstrated interest in working with adolescents. Strong computer skills and ability to find and learn new programs independently. Ability to think critically, analyze problems, and develop and implement creative solutions. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Status: Exempt, Full-time, 48 weeks per year
