Rauner Special Collections Library is seeking a Collection Management Specialist to oversee the daily care and organization of Dartmouth’s rare books, manuscripts, and archival collections. In this role, you’ll also play a key part in building awareness of our remarkable holdings through creative and engaging outreach.

Minimum requirements (training, skills, education, experience):
1+ years of related experience
Experience scheduling and coordinating activities and events
Strong public services commitment
Demonstrated attention to detail
Excellent organizational, project management, writing, and editing skills.
Ability to work discreetly with sensitive or confidential materials
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to collaborate creatively with internal colleagues and external partners to meet mutual goals
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a public services environment
Some aptitude with social media (or interest in learning more about social media)
