Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, friendly person with a strong sense of self motivation, customer service and attention to detail to fill this part time, 13 hour a week position.
Primary responsibilities include:
Assisting patrons with various tasks such as, use of on-line catalog, finding materials, reference assistance, use of computers, printers, fax machine, scanners.
Materials management- assist with locating materials for patrons, checking items in and out, Interlibrary loan
Shelving
Readers Advisory
Opening and closing the library
Minimum requirements (training, skills, education, experience):
A bachelor's degree and/or previous library experience is preferred.
Benefits:
Permanent full-time and part-time employees shall receive:
One-week equivalent (equal to the number of hours an employee is scheduled to work each week) of paid vacation after six months. Two weeks after one year. Three weeks after five years. Four weeks after 10 years.
Hiring Wage Range:
$21 per hour
Other Considerations/Requirements:
